215 platforms shown

Expert AI work

Project-based evaluation, RLHF and domain expert work. This is where the higher rates are: coding, STEM, finance, law and medicine pay well above general annotation.

Lower barrier to entry

Easier to get onto, usually lower pay. Good for building a track record before applying to the expert platforms.

Portugal and EU specific

Remote does not automatically mean EU eligible. Eligibility is usually decided per project, so these country and language filtered sources save a lot of wasted applications. European Portuguese is treated as a distinct requirement and is worth flagging on every profile.

Aggregators and trackers

The fastest way to cover dozens of platforms at once. Worth bookmarking rather than applying through directly.

Research and human feedback studies

Not conventional jobs, but AI labs use these panels for preference data, evaluation and experiments. Portugal is often eligible depending on the study.

Language, translation and localization

Especially relevant from Portugal. Audio, transcription, localization and evaluation roles routinely ask for European Portuguese plus English.

Data annotation and computer vision

Labeling, segmentation, audio and image work. Broad availability, lower rates than expert evaluation.

AI lab and company career pages

Not gig platforms. Remote EU contract, evaluation and research positions surface here from time to time.

General remote job boards

Useful for AI evaluator, AI trainer and RLHF roles that never get posted on the specialist platforms.

Freelance marketplaces

AI labs and data vendors post evaluation, annotation and prompt writing gigs here as ordinary freelance contracts. Worth a saved search rather than a one time browse.

Communities and platform reviews

Where workers compare pay, flag scams and post when a platform reopens applications. Read these before signing up anywhere unfamiliar.

Before you apply

  • Remote does not mean globally eligible. Most of these platforms decide eligibility per project, so check the individual listing rather than the company page.
  • Expert evaluation pays far more than general labeling. Coding, STEM, finance, law and medicine sit at the top of the range.
  • Language pairs are leverage. European Portuguese is treated as a separate requirement from Portuguese, so name it explicitly.
  • Platforms open and close projects constantly. Aggregators are the efficient way to watch dozens of them at once.
